Operation Updates (9/11/26)
Updated: 8 hours ago
For any questions or concerns about the following, please text Scott Center, Head of Operations, at (262)215-2733 and include your name and lake address. He will get back to you as soon as possible.
Bog Harvesting:
After three days of bog operations, our team and Riese Aquatics cleared all visible bogs along the east side of the lake and hauled 49 loads to Walton Sand & Gravel. This equipment-intensive effort required an excavator, all three weed harvesters, multiple trucks, and outstanding teamwork from a full crew of our employees. If any remaining bog remnants happen to float into your lakefront, please text Scott.
Weed Harvesting:
With bog removal complete, we will resume weed harvesting operations on Whitewater Lake beginning Monday, September 14. We plan to run the harvesters in tandem to remove as much plant mass as possible before it sinks with cooler temperatures. If you haven’t seen the crew yet, they should be in your area soon.
Weed Pickups:
We will begin final weed pickups as soon we get our transport barge back on the water with a new spud. (Spuds allow us to safely approach piers and remove weed piles.) We will notify lake owners on Facebook and this website once the barge is ready. Please remember to place any weeds on your pier if you are heading out after the weekend, or by 7 am on the day pickups resume. (We cannot pick up weeds stored on your seawall.)
