2026 Weed Spraying Update

Our contractor will be spraying on Whitewater Lake this coming Wednesday, June 10 (backup date for weather June 11) as approved by the DNR. Our crew will post signs on lawns where spraying is designated.

We will spray for Eurasian Water Milfoil in two areas, including the State Park lobe (the no-wake area north of the beach) and the northern tip of Bass Lake (northern-most end off East Lake Shore Drive and east of Hill Dr.) We will also spray the south end of Whitewater Lake for Curly-leaf Pondweed, including parts of Chapel Dr. and Oakwood Rd. on the east side and parts of Krahn Dr. and Cliffs View on the west side.
