Aquatic Plant Managment Meeting - All District members are invited!

As mentioned in our Spring newsletter, we are excited to be working with Onterra to update our Aquatic Plant Management Program for the Wisconsin DNR — and we want you to be part of the process! All Whitewater-Rice Lakes Management District members are warmly invited to our Kick-Off Meeting on Saturday, June 6th at 10:30 AM to Noon at the Lions Club on Kettle Moraine Drive. Come ready to connect, learn, and share!

This meeting is a wonderful educational opportunity. Onterra ecologists will introduce important concepts in lake ecology, including the value of a diverse aquatic plant community and the benefits of maintaining natural buffer areas around the lake.

Just as importantly, this is your forum. Attendees will have the chance to share their concerns, ask questions, and provide valuable on-the-ground knowledge about our lakes and their aquatic plant communities directly with the Onterra team. Your insights matter — and they'll help shape the direction of this program.
