August/September Updates

Here's a few items for your attention:

1. Please consult the documents section of this website for a copy of the Power Point that was presented at the 8/22 Annual Meeting. The district membership voted and passed all of the items marked with an asterisk on the agenda.

2. Bog removal work will begin near Cruse Lane on Tuesday, September 8. Please text Scott Center (262-215-2733) if you have questions.

3. Watch for a postcard being sent to your tax mailing address regarding how to access an online survey for our Aquatic Plant Management Plan. The survey will close on 9/28. Please call 715-542-2881 if you do not receive a postcard.

4. We received a DNR grant for removing the starry stonewort invasive identified this summer in the channel between the Chapel and Krahn Drive launches. Work will begin soon using DASH (diver assisted suction harvesting.) Please be careful of our staff in that area.
